The Witcher Season 2 Scenes Without CGI
The Witcher is shaping up to be a solid enough show, it might just make it through more seasons than Game of Thrones. Here’s hoping, anyway! It comes with a huge fan base thanks to the books and games and now that the CGI is gaining some much needed love in season 2, we can only hope to see this fan base grow! Plus, its got Henry Cavill, how can you go wrong? We’re taking a look at the newest CGI reveals as well as some fan favorites from season one. Can you guess what part of Nivellen is CGI? We’ll also be taking a peek at why the actors struggled with battling the basilisks. Here’s a hint: It’s because they looked goofy. We’re checking out how they made the Leshy’s tree skin and how it was different from his vines. We’ll be taking a peek into the literal world-building they did, creating entire forests and cities. We get to check out what awesome special effects idea they came up with in order to make Cavill’s fight scenes more fluid. There’s also the crazy choreography that went into the Kikimora fight. We’ll take a peek at the dragon. We’ll spy on the Striga. We’ll see what awesome last-minute idea they came up with for the Ghouls. And finally we’ll check out the teenie tiny armies that became gigantic ones. There’s so much effects work that goes into creating a fantasy show like this, it can’t be avoided even if you try. Check it out!
