The Witch's House Walkthrough With Pseudo-Third (Secret) Ending - The Witch's House MV
10This video shows how to beat The Witch's House while also getting the Pseudo-Third Ending as well as the True Ending to the game. To get the Pseudo-Third Ending you must not interact with the cat or save at him at all throughout the entire game until you're just outside the Witch's Room (excluding in the Hall of Distraction where you are supposedly able to save at the cat so long as you didn't read the note about not being distracted in the previous room).
During the Pseudo-Third Ending you get to have a secret conversation with the cat outside the Witch's Room that you're not otherwise able to have, giving you more information about the context of the game & the witch. Additionally, the objects in the Witch's Room have different descriptions, Ellen's diary has a different entry, & lastly, after saving in the bedroom, if you look at your location on the save file it is "My Room" instead of the normal "Witch's Room".
Once you're at the point where you're being chased throughout the house you're able to get either the True or the "Good" Ending. To get the True Ending grab Ellen's Knife from the cupboard near the beginning of the game while being chased around by the Legless Girl.
