36The Connected Women of Influence speaker series features women in leadership who have made a significant contribution in creating a diverse future for Asia Pacific. The series highlights women who helped and encouraged other women in their industry and community. Our speakers use their skills and ability to help change the status quo to a more equal and diverse society and have significant achievements in areas such as Board & Management, Global Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise, Diversity, Not-for-profit, Youth Leadership and Philanthropy.
In this session of Women of Influence we meet, Dr Jemma Green works in the fields of block chain, artificial intelligence and energy. Jemma Co-founded Power Ledger which empowers individuals and communities all over the world with access to electricity that is low-cost, reliable, and renewable. We also meet Karrie Llagan, Country Manager for Cisco in the Philippines. Karrie is responsible for supporting customers in the domestic market, with a particular focus on enabling digital transformation and propelling cybersecurity capabilities, via an ecosystem of Cisco Channel Partners.
