Zelda's Adventure on the Philips CD-i is widely regarded as the worst Zelda game ever made, and for good reason. The game was released in 1996 and was developed by Viridis Corporation, a company that had no previous experience in making video games. The game was poorly received by both critics and fans of the series due to its numerous technical issues, terrible gameplay mechanics, and a complete lack of story cohesion.
One of the biggest issues with Zelda's Adventure was the control scheme. The game relied on a point-and-click interface, which made it incredibly difficult to move around and interact with the environment. This made combat a frustrating experience, and made it difficult to explore the game's world. Additionally, the game suffered from numerous bugs and glitches, which made it even more difficult to play.
Another major issue with Zelda's Adventure was its story. Unlike other Zelda games, the plot of this game was poorly developed and lacked any real depth. The game was also filled with poor voice acting and terrible cutscenes that were often unintentionally hilarious.
Overall, Zelda's Adventure on the Philips CD-i is a game that is best forgotten. Its poor gameplay, lackluster story, and technical issues make it a prime example of how not to make a Zelda game.
