Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Quest Medley
This is showing off the new Quest Medley mode which is AWESOME. Why? It makes unlocking characters and finding rare items somewhat interesting instead of overly grindy. You get a new map for completing one the first time to get a higher level one or if you fail to get a lower level one.
In Quest Medley mode you start off on a world map of sorts and choose which paths you'll take. Different paths means different songs and items you can receive.I did not honestly expect to get a shard from the mini boss for example. The key I picked up also can be carried over to another map if I so choose.
The goal is to reach the end and defeat the Final Boss of the map. Even if you clear the song if you haven't defeated the final boss you'll fail the quest and have to start over or resume if you activated an Aetheryte. When your HP drops to zero it's also a failure. You don't heal between songs so you need to utilize healing items or healing characters.
This map wasn't too hard of course but I just decided to come in somewhat prepared since tackling this at level 1 would be risky if my party's damage wasn't high enough.
Lol I also did not expect a certain lengthy BMS either. Luckily the level of the map determines the difficulty so there were only basic difficulty songs here. As you progress into higher level maps you'll see. Also maps have varying length, this was a short one.
You can get medium or long maps too. Luckily you are allowed to take breaks and save your progress on a map so it's pretty reasonable.
Lastly, you get maps by either clearing ones or from Streetpass profiles obtained by adding people/VS mode online or locally.
Also I believe no commentary was the correct choice, everything is explained here or just from watching. That and man...Even on basic One-Winged Angel is kind of a pain length wise lol. Would be hard to talk during it.
