153This is an arrangement of the main theme from the 1984 horror movie Phenomena starring Jennifer Connelly. I have arranged it for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES console.
Phenomena was a thoroughly trippy Italian 80s horror flick, and its theme, originally written by Claudio Simonetti, is one of the most memorable instrumental horror themes ever.
I used Clock Tower for the video footage since the game was somewhat inspired by Phenomena. If you've seen the film, the connection is obvious, even without the bug theme - the main character in Clock Tower was patterned after Connelly herself.
Is it just me, or does this sound like it would be right at home in a Castlevania game?
Since Halloween is less than a week away, I thought I'd do something to complement the mood. Hope you enjoy it!
