This is actually my second run for this quest. I failed my first attempt because I needed just 1 more turn. I'd highly recommend grabbing that blue shrine - to get an extra base energy - first... in fact, the first chance you get... before getting the Talisman. I did it the other way around and it didn't work out for me.

Also, make sure to get the Horse card when completing the quests within the mission. You'll need it!
