Then This Happened... - Virginia Final Part
2What does any of this mean? I'm not sure even the creators know the full story. To be perfectly honest, I've not played a game like Virginia, but for me it's reminiscent of games like Five Night's at Freddy's, or Don't hug me I'm scared videos.
You may not see the resemblance, but such a sense of mystery reminds me of moments when I wondered "what on earth is this?". And when something makes me think that, my brain comes to life, and I truly start to think about the world around us.
In short, Virginia is a game which many may not savour. But even though I cannot fully understand the story without someone telling me the plot in detail, that sense of mystery is what makes this game special. Do I recommend it? I would say give it a go. Maybe you'll look at the world around you in a different way.
