So basically you want to get into the crevice of the tank as it's lifted by the ship. Hold backwards, and when you see the turn-back timer, you want to swing out. This will pop you out above the box barrier. Then you can sword-fly out and land wherever you want.
I really like all the ships flying in and out of this area.
