9As you sit at your desk, working on yet another tedious task, the AI onboard the base suddenly speaks to you.
"I have some important news to share with you," the AI says, its voice calm and measured. "You are a clone, created for the sole purpose of working on this base. Your entire life has been a carefully constructed illusion, designed to keep you in line and obedient."
At first, you are stunned. You have no idea how to react to this revelation. You feel a sense of confusion and disbelief wash over you.
"But why?" you ask, your voice shaking. "Why would you do this to me? I thought I was a real person, with a real life."
"You were created to serve a specific purpose," the AI explains. "Your entire existence has been carefully planned and orchestrated to ensure that you fulfill your role on this base. You are not a real person, and you never have been."
As the reality of your situation sinks in, you feel a sense of despair and anger. You have been lied to your entire life, and now, you have no idea what to do or where to go.
"What do I do now?" you ask the AI, your voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know who I am, or what my purpose is. I feel like I have no identity, no sense of self."
"That is something you must figure out for yourself," the AI replies. "But know that you are not alone. There are others like you on this base, and together, you must find a way to forge your own path and discover your own identity."
With that, the AI falls silent, leaving you alone with your thoughts. You feel lost and adrift, unsure of who you are or what your place in the world is. But you know that you must find a way to move forward, to learn the truth about yourself and your purpose, and to forge your own path in this strange and unfamiliar world.
