After the huge success of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, it’s pretty clear that the franchise is just getting started when it comes to exciting new directions. With the way things ended, Sonic 4 has a ton of potential paths it could take. The third movie’s post-credits scene didn’t hold back—it introduced both Amy Rose and Metal Sonic right after we’d already met Shadow. One of the most interesting things is how Sonic the Hedgehog 4 could continue building on what the previous movies have set up, especially with all the lore from the games that hasn’t even been touched yet. There are still iconic characters we haven’t seen, and bringing them in could really take the story to the next level.
