I think a card colony builder is an interesting idea. Maybe this is based of a board game, not sure? Anyway, I feel the balancing of taking resources might need balancing. Only running a gold mine or fishing spot for a couple of years before having to demolish and rebuild it in another location is a bit excessive. Workers being killed because their house was destroyed, even though they were not in the house. Some things not explained, like fishing spots, how farms work, etc.
