Mario and Luigi is back for their third RPG adventure together in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story! This time around a mysterious malady know as The Blorbs has inflicted many Toads, so Princess Peach holds a meeting to figure out a way to have the Blorbs cured. Bowser, however, was not invited to this meeting, but he crashes it out of anger for not having been invited! But after getting defeated and kicked out he gets tricked by a mysterious figure to consume a special mushroom that makes him inhale EVERYTHING in sight! Turns out that Fawful has finally returned and is out for revenge! Bowser, while not in his right senses, goes back to Peach's Castle and inhales everyone there! Now most of the characters are inside of Bowser; hence the name of the game, Bowser's inside Story! Mario and Luigi must find Peach and the others inside of Bowser, while Bowser tries to deal with Fawful in the outside world. Will they make it out of Bowser, and will Bowser be able to beat Fawful? And what exactly is Fawful's evil and convoluted plan?
It's quite a unique RPG adventure, as you walk around in an overworld, solve puzzles and utilize your special moves to get around, and then you also battle enemies. But unlike most RPG-games, you're actively using your own attacks AND avoiding enemy attacks, meaning you don't only choose your move and wait for the outcome; you actually have to preform the moves and avoid the enemy attack actively!
