After the recent announcement of Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave and the upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster, I got very excited for more tactical / strategy JRGPS. ATLUS is by far my favorite game developper and they have a ton of amazing IPs under their belt like Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Devil Summoner and a lot more. They also have some spin-offs of their most popular IPs. The games that I want to talk about today are Shin Megami Tensei spin-offs. Shin Megami Tensei is a turn-based dungeon-crawler franchise, but Devil Survivor is a tactical RPG with a turn-based combat system implemented into it. Devil Survivor is my favorite Shin Megami Tensei spin-off and these 2 games DESERVE the HD remaster treatment.
