SEGA & ATLUS are by far my favorite game publishers/devs. That is why I feel the need to share my opinion about how things are going right now at SEGA in 2025. I think ATLUS in general is on the right path right now with massive hits from Shin Megami Tensei to Persona and Metaphor: ReFantazio. SEGA tho, is focusing all their forces to 2 big pillars: Sonic The Hedgehog with games like Sonic Racing Crossworlds and Yakuza / Like a Dragon with games like Yakuza Kiwami 3 or Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. SEGA owns the right to lengendary IPs like Skies of Arcadia, Sakura Wars, Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi, and they need to do something with them.
Do you think SEGA will start to push their other IPs going forward? Their retro IP revival initial gives me hope, but i'll have to see games like Jet Set Radio as soon as possible!
