So we're in an earlier time before kain even defiled the pillars whilst also being in the present and near future while the distant twisted future where all the brothers of raziel became their ultimate twisted form one of these twisted brothers exists in a timeline it really shouldn't belong in so who knows what's going no as we're in anything but that very distant timeline. Whatever the present time we're just going with it at this point, sure the timelines don't quite make sense but maybe our meddling in time and the wibbly wobbly nature of time correcting itself explains everything surely.
