Many thought the termination of agreements would be the end of Pyro, with modrinth getting a deal with OVH instead, reducing the core amount back to 2 and giving you 2 burst cores instead, and a very talented developer leaving the team to get a job at Modrinth. The future of pyro looked grim. With the CEO also just purchasing a house they had 2 options, find a job elsewhere or lock in for V2. And while its not what they planned to launch with, we can now witness the return of Pyrodactyl and the launch of Pyro Alpha.
