196The widow mine drop is hated by every single Protoss player and has been a focal point of discussion in the latest round of balance patches. But there is a good reason why the community is so vocal about it now, and that is because it has never been harder than right now to defend a widow mine drop.
This isn't about whether you agree with the balance or design of the unit. It's just pointing out that there is probably a good reason why it seems like the complaining has reached a new peak.
