Do I need a description for Thief? I probably do. Thief is an old game – released in 2000 if I recall aright and remains one of the best sneaking games I have ever played. We play the role of Garrett – a to-be-master thief as he accomplishes his exploits in the City.

The setting takes place in a technological and magical world where lights, undead, and other creatures exist (but are generally not well known nor often seen), and technology is widely used (steam engines, electrical lighting, etc) – but not so much to have moved into main-stream life. Torches and the like are used in more places and no robots or the like exist... yet.

Our task is to accomplish our varied mission goals, which often include finding loot. While we CAN knock out every guard we come across to make things easier this playlist is going to have a few rules in place.

1)- Only two blackjack knockouts allowed per mission (generally). I'll give myself a 3rd for the Thief Gold missions (as I dislike all of them, some more than others due to awkward guard/servant patrols) but will still attempt only 2. If I go more than the limit I must penalize myself 10% of the take per knock out more.

2)- I must buy all tips, even if I know what they are already.

3)- No killing people unless I absolutely must (am cornered and generally can't escape or put myself into even more danger). It occurs to me that I didn't mention it – but this should count towards my knock out total.

4)- I am running a modded version of the game as well – the HD mod, and the general Tfix (version 1.27.28). They don't adjust the game at all – merely fix scripts, textures and make the game look a great deal more beautiful.
