Thief Gold Iron Mode Part 0 - A Random Guest
A stream cut short due to my headphones being low on battery after a long day of streaming. I replay the training mission and Baffords, even showing off my accuracy with the bow, before getting a new viewer - Ace2703, who patiently waits for me to charge up my headphones. After a fast paced first mission, I go against my word for Cragscleft to explain what I am doing in more clarity to our new viewer. It also allowed me to focus on commentary like my previous videos, meaning this is a video of two different styles. Not much luck today, a balcony kept managing to kill me for whatever reason.
This is also part 0 to an ongoing stream that is my first real serious attempt at redoing my Iron Mode missions from my other channel. They aren't replacements, just videos done in a very different style. These videos, being unedited streams, will show every failure and also be a solidified entry to prove that I indeed did it in Iron Mode in comparison to my edited videos. The other videos are better at showing the cutscenes and perhaps even the books (I have to manually read out everything here) while this is perhaps better if coming to check out the challenge. They are also streams, which can be a bit more chaotic and thus aren't as professional in my eyes, thus why it is on my random channel instead of my main Thief one.
Being a second attempt at Iron Moding all the missions, I have done things in a different manner. First and foremost, I am avoiding exploits at all costs (the ones I am referring to being the knockout-door glitch, the leaning-knockout glitch, and the darkness-alerted glitch). While my main series was good at avoiding them,I do recall having to apologize at some point which is something I wish to fix here.
Secondly, I am using lootlists or otherwise getting information on the number of loot before a mission so that I am able to hopefully find all the loot, thus making this more of a loot-through than my previous series was. Between the challenge and loot, this might be better for a more professional player to check out that doesn't mind only being able to hear cutscenes or the random text people write in my streams. I do not look up the locations of all loot while recording the videos, though I have looked up loot in the past so some of these might be based on memory on bits of loot I tend to miss. At a certain point, my memory might fail me entirely (if I am correct, I stopped looking up loot at Song of the Caverns) so that I might need to hunt for longer periods of time.
As they are streams, I assume the video quality to be compressed, they take a lot less time to upload and render than my official series. As they are streams and not just recorded videos, these aren't as organized as my main series and I might have just random failures or have a few levels done in one video. These descriptions should hopefully help. This is part 0 because it isn't really part of the official stream that started with part 1, but it is part of the same day and introduces Ace2703.
