In preparation to continue my main video series, I decided to go back and see how I managed doing Iron Mode at these levels.

For some reason I was pretty inaccurate in the Training Mission with the basketball. That should have warned me I was off my game, but I insisted on continuing.

Bafford's Manor went extremely well, I was even able to kill the spiders without missing. It was probably the highlight of the night. Of course, I did manage to forget about the gallery and had to spend some time questioning why I was missing a hundred loot.

Cragscleft also went pretty smoothly, though I did alert one guard by messing up a jump. Still, I didn't get injured like I did last time, and overall the entire mission was dealt with pretty easily. Tarquis was a nightmare to handle for some reason without abusing the glitch.

The Bonehoard was where my first death occurred, not too long after I had a problem with rope bugs. Oddly enough, it wasn't the ropes that killed me, but a tiny ledge I wasn't aware could kill me. A replay went smoothly, I even lured a Fire Shadow so I could get the Mystic's Soul without distractions.

Assassins had another death as I kept not expecting patrols and would end up surprised by some random guard. I would have been fine if it wasn't for being in a room with a lot of guards and not realizing they were not longer blinded by a flash bomb. The second playthrough had some odd glitch where the front gate dialog never played, yet it otherwise was fine. This is also the first playthrough where I didn't have to return home even though the alarm was never pulled, thus making things even more of a mystery. The alarm was nearly pulled as well, but luckily I had some flash bombs to save myself.

Thieves' Guild might as well have been renamed Flash Bomb and darkness central, I kept having to lure and otherwise blind guards after accidentally tripping over something. Oddly enough I had a better time with the sleeping guards, which is what I was worried about, and more of a problem with random patrols. I also missed a tiny bit of loot and had to scour the map for it.

Overall, a stream with many stumbles, but one which also never resulted in me stumbling too much or having too many complications. The second try on two levels was enough to fix any problems I had, I was careless with guards but was able to fix my mistakes, and there was never a time I struggled to Iron Mode one of these early levels. Conveniently, this stream stops right before the painful level The Sword with its evil rope bugs. May be continued...

This video is basically the precursor to the later stream series I end up doing, though the videos later were a complete redo of these missions. As this video is the "slow paced" style that I refer to constantly in parts 1 and 2 of my regular series whereby I do these missions again with the intention to ignore unnecessary areas and just do a better playthrough. As part 3 and later returns to this "style", it is somewhat necessary to check out this one with the rest, even if this one is basically repeated in parts 1 and 2 with a bit more fluidity. Watch this if you like explanations and things being taken perhaps slower, watch parts 1 and 2 if you are fine with having cutscenes, books, and other things skipped and just wish to see a successful run with less problems than this run.
