After getting some encouragement from people, I decided to try my hand at some old school LEGO games, starting with a highly loved title called LEGO Island.

Going into it with absolutely no knowledge on what I was doing, I soon found myself doing repetitious building tasks to acquire vehicles. Romanophile tuned in once again, this time with the chat window actually functional, meaning it doesn't look like I am just talking to myself.

Loud music...misleading flowers...and evil pathways which I can't leave for some apparent reason. This game feels highly limiting and the controls are rather frustrating due to their sporadic nature. You can tell this is before mouselook became common.

Oh, also, I happened to suffer from a lot of technical difficulties. Or perhaps those difficulties weren't on my end but on Romanophile's, since I don't see any flaws in the video. In any event it did not decrease the stress levels of this boring but annoying game.
