As someone who played Thief: The Dark Project when it released back in the day, and as someone who played the much more recent Dishonored, we was a tad let down by the recently released Thief. The biggest negative is the linearity. As you progress through the game's missions, you will notice that you actually have less and less freedom as to how to approach these missions. Is the game bad? Not at all. It is a very enjoyable stealth game and perfect for the $35-40 price range.
