1I would say that the tutorial for this game needs a little work. Maybe, rather than having Vinny simply tell you to unlock a particular skill, and then a follow-up of telling you to go do something that requires that skill, he should simply tell you about the job and mention off-handedly that the place might have more difficult locks, or that the only access is from the second floor. I'm still not sure how the cops grabbed me so easily, and can only theorize that it was due to things I'd stolen somehow being trackable.

When important and dangerous people help a dangerous felon get released from prison ahead of schedule, the favors get repaid the only way he knows how - with funds made by stealing and selling other people's stuff. Gain experience to unlock skills, buy tools for everything from picking locks, to micro-camera surveillance, to disabling tracking equipment on expensive electronics. Destroy a little property, strip down some stolen cars, maybe pawn some jewelry.. Just another day in the life of a thief!
