Things Outside The Blocks | Cataclismo (Castle Building RTS - Demo)
151Cataclismo is a real time strategy game where we get to build our own defences brick-by-brick to keep out the waves of Lovecraftian horrors that want to eat us a bit.
At our little base camp we have to do some urgent repairs and also get some essential buildings put together. We build some lumberjacks, a quarry, houses for people to live and, very importantly, oxygen generators to clean the air around us from the sinister mist that surrounds us.
We also build up our defences using big stone bricks, wooden platforms, stairs and arches, and everything has to fit together properly! There's structural integrity and everything going on!
Then we have to train up some troops to defend ourselves against the nightly horrors, evil twisted creatures that throw themselves at us, wave after wave. But the big question is... can we survive?
