146Primal Chronicles is a game that whisks us back in time to the prehistoric age and puts us in charge of a group of tribesmen. Our job? Keep them fed, keep them warm, keep them alive, help them migrate to the Promised Land!
We do this by working through different lands and assigning our tribesmen to different tasks. Initially we have very few tasks, just the basics like gather sticks or nuts, but we can also send someone to explore the area to bring up several new tasks. These might be the same as ones we already have or they might be new ones, like gather stone or fight a boar!
Time ticks by and at the end of each day we have to spend some food and heat on keeping people alive, but to migrate to the new area we need to spend an amount of food and heat, so there's some balancing work going on.
We also have generic tasks that we can always do and several of these tend to come from a helpful local God, who gives us secrets such as how to make axes or how to craft clothing!
As time ticks by in each land it becomes harder to explore so we have to gather resources and move on as quick as we can, but do we make it to the Promised Land?
