This 2.5D Action Platformer Soulslike Has Been Released!! | The Devil Within: Satgat - Part 1
2Hello everyone! Here we are with the full release of a game, whose demo I had played a long time ago. This is The Devil Within: Satgat, a 2.5D action platforming with soulslike elements (still not sure if it is a metroidvania or not) that had been around on early access for around a year I think, but it was fully released yesterday November 21st (In the video I say 12th... Sorry for that xD). Graphics are high quality (Unreal Engine) and performance is quite good, although I keep getting some random stutterings sometimes. Combat feels really smooth although it feels a bit off sometimes (and I think it is because movement speed is kinda slow, but then the attacks are lightning fast). You count with parry and dash, but I feel the risk of the parry is a bit unrewarding compared to what you get... I still try it, but so far it feels way more convenient to just fight by using dashes
You can find new weapons, new equipments, and you can also level up, which will help you upgrade some of the many skill trees this game has (each one dedicated to different aptitude (toughness, agility, technique, and so on...).
I am enjoying it so far, although I haven't gotten too far, and I still have to face that boss that annoyed me so much during the demo.
