This Brilliantly Creative Game Of Last Decade Is Lost In Clutter Of Trash Games!
In today’s world everything sale-able requires proper promotion to reach its target audience in full capacity and the gaming industry is no different when it comes to attracting gamers. There are a lot & lot of games that are promising enough to drop your jaw and make you go WOW! From graphics to the story and the uniqueness of these games are worthy of every true gamers attention but due to lack of promotion the effort behind these games go in vain. Today we are going to discuss such one game which despite being one of the most creative games of the last decade, wasn’t able to reach out to gamers as much as it should have: Return of the Obra Dinn.
Return of the Obra Dinn is an adventure and puzzle video game created by American video game designer Lucas Pope and published by Japanese studio 3909 LLC. It was his second commercial game, following 2013's Papers, Please, and was released for macOS and Microsoft Windows in October 2018 and for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, a year later. The game, played in first-person perspective, uses a "1-bit" monochromatic graphical style inspired by games on early Macintosh computers. It’s remarkable that a game like Return of the Obra Dinn exists due to the amount of detail and effort put into it by just one person, none other than Lucas Pope.
