1. Stagnant Play Cycle
Unfortunately, the issue of stale gameplay in the endgame has been growing over the years due to burnout, enthusiasm, and bad league mechanics. This stagnant play cycle has been a long-standing issue.
2. Meta Farming Shake-Up Without New Mechanics
Reducing the endless, monotonous components of endgame mechanics, like reducing the number of waves in Simulacrums, could speed up farming, allowing for faster currency gain and character progression. This could lead to a more dynamic endgame experience.
Examples of Potential Changes:
Auto-opening doors in Heist (a long-standing community request)
Reduction in early Delve depths
Increasing the number of rooms in a single Incursion encounter
3. Experimentation is Over
a. Kalandra - Introduced the infamous Archnemisis system
