Hey Exiles! Today, we're diving into the patch notes for Path of Exile 3.25: Settlers of Kalguur and the content reveal to do a bit of a breakdown of what we saw in the reveal as well as outlining some of the major nerfs you should be on the look out for. Strap yourselves in, these are huge.
This might be the greatest league announcement I've seen in 11 years, and I'm pretty excited!
New Mechanics from Path of Exile 2
City Builder:
-Auto-queued maps with 'employees' farming for you.
-Shipping routes with sailor defense against pirates, with risk/reward mechanics.
-Gold added to the game for respecs and accessing...
-Currency Trade Auction House: Real-time currency trading!
-Recombinators return as part of the city-building mechanic.
Settlers of Kalguur Content:
-Wildwoods returns with 'An Audience With The King' encounter.
-Tinctures usable with melee skills and a new Deadeye ascendancy point.
-Sentinel league content reintroduced.
-Lake of Kalandra alters back as random map encounters.
-Major melee rework: no more melee totems, significant melee skill buffs.
-New Warden Ascendancy replaces Raider, focusing on elemental melee.
-Gladiator rework: true max block focus.
-Chieftain rework: better slam builds.
-New retaliation skills added.
Some Less Positive Changes:
-Physical to elemental conversion nerfed.
-Defiance of Destiny nerfed.
-Grace and Determination nerfed to 50%, but new item bases and changes to multiplicative quality help compensate.
