3,414Whatever you want to call the era of Cartoon Network and Netflix animation that began with series like Adventure Time and Steven Universe -- Tumbl or CalArts -- it's officially OVER. After shutting down its studio building, Cartoon Network is delisting even more animated series like Infinity Train, OK K.O., and even Close Enough... presumably for a tax write-off. Netflix is canceling many in-house animated projects, and instead relying on movies outsourced from companies like John Lasseter's Skydance Animation. This era of animation is DONE. So what's next?
