Project Awakening is an upcoming action role-playing game in a fantasy setting being developed by Cygames, and initially announced for the PlayStation 4 in September 2018.
Project Awakening, the elusive fantasy action-RPG that many believed will follow Deep Down's fate, is still not cancelled. For the first time in three years, the team at Cygames has revealed some new in-engine footage, offering fresh looks at the title's quite impressive visuals.Originally announced as a PlayStation 4 title back in 2018, Project Awakening (which is still a working title) suddenly surfaced during the recent Cygames Tech Conference live stream (via Twinfinite). The studio is using its own custom Cyllista Game Engine for the game, which could explain the long development cycle and extremely rare updates throughout the past few years.
