This glitch skips like three dungeons (Secret of Mana, SNES)
302This super simple glitch in Secret of Mana (Super Nintendo) allows you to skip some of Sage Joch's trials and can save you a ton of time in a speedrun. You can perform this trick as soon as you meet Jehk atop the Lofty Mountains.
Enter Jehk's chamber and have one of your characters charge a Level 1 attack with the sword. Position that character so that the releases the Level 1 Sword attack to the right of Jehk.
Just as that character starts his attack, have another character talk to Jehk from the right side of the screen. The positioning can be a little picky, but you can easily try again if the trick doesn't work. It's much easier to do this with two controllers.
But if you perform the glitch properly, your character with the sword will jump off the platform to the left and land BEHIND the barrier of stalagmites. When that happens, simply switch control to that character using the select button and walk straight up to the final trial dungeon.
