This Intel Arrow Lake BIOS Update Might Overheat Your CPU - Core Ultra 265K
Intel’s latest BIOS update for Z890 boards introduces some interesting changes for Arrow Lake CPUs. I tested the new F16b BIOS on my Gigabyte AORUS Elite X ICE motherboard with the Core Ultra 265K and compared it to the previous version. This update allows switching between Microcode 0x113 and 0x114, but I also noticed higher temperatures and power draw in intensive workloads.
If you're wondering whether this BIOS update is worth installing, I hope this video will be useful. Let me know your experience in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe for more benchmarks, guides, and updates.
