A little about This Is Endless

Death Metal has always been a genre that has stood the test of time. Thriving in the 90's despite the arrival of Nu-Metal. The genre was built on foundations of US bands the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, Suffocation, Morbid Angel along with UK visionaries Napalm Death, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Cancer to name but a few. These many artists would be the architects of a sound that would create innumerable oportunity for bands the world over and truly expand the undead world of Death Metal.

Using the lessons that were taught from the old guard This Is Endless bring a modern take on a sound that has been pioneered since the late 80's. Recorded by none other than Russ Russel, Napalm Death, At The Gates, Evile and The Exploited being just a few on the producer's CV, This Is Endless breathe fresh life into the corpse of Death Metal on their brand new album 'Formations of a World Below' out August 14th via Endless Records.

Complete with imagery that crafts a malevolent Clive Barker (Hellraiser) inspired universe, This Is Endless inject their very own DIY identity to Death Metal. No doubt more than just a homage to Immolation's album of a similar name, the band bring all of the qualities that were seen by some of the genres pioneers and package them into a modern idea.

The quintet are made up of members of Ted Maul, Dripback, Dead Beyond Buried and Onlsaught. Blending elements and ideolgies of Hardcore into their Death Metal frenzy, the band, while ferocious never forget the undercurrent of groove in Hardcore and paid homage to the genre with the appearance of none other than Biohazard's Bobby Hambel on their 2016 EP 'Inherit The Sin'.

An album that evolves as the listen goes on from the ominous beginnings of 'Skin Cyst' or the tremolo grooving of 'Creature of Habit' or the stop start riffing of 'The Damned And The Weak', This Is Endless create the perfect blend of Death Metal, Grind and Hardcore.

Taking a lead out of Morbid Angel's lurching guitar lines, Nile's furious drumming and Napalm Death's battering ram like power, This Is Endless combine ferocity and atmosphere with all important groove to create a unique symbiosis of Death Metal brilliance set to take over the UK in 2020.
