In July of 2014, Mojang makes the decision to change their EULA to stop pay to win server from getting out of hand, they could not have possibly foreseen the absolute uproar this would have caused. With servers like Hypixel and Mineplex arguing this would absolutely destroy the very active and flourishing online community. Nowadays this decision is looked back on with somewhat of a distrustfull look towards mojang and resentment by those who where active in the community at the time. As this was the main reason the scandal surrounding Bukkit happened. In this video ill be taking a deep dive into what happened as we go trough this major turning point for Minecrafts online future.
