4,484So, on Sunday, Hungrybox tweeted a picture of his prize for playing 5th at CEO 2022’s Melee tournament. A whole 75 bucks.
This kickstarted a massive conversation about Melee prize pools and whether or not tournaments should pay out more, or if top players need to shut up about this whole thing.
So let me explain what’s going on, Why Hbox made so little for top 8ing one of the biggest tournaments of the year, and why we all need to stop having this conversation every three months.
