67Alright, so let’s talk about why Path of Exile 2’s Dawn of the Hunt update is getting absolutely slammed with negative reviews on Steam. Spoiler alert: it’s not just a couple of tweaks here and there—this update really shook things up, and not in a good way, at least according to a lot of the community.
First off, the nerfs. They hit a bunch of popular builds pretty hard. Spark? Yeah, that got hit—the number of projectiles was cut down, and they also removed the bonus projectile speed, which makes clearing content feel slower and just less satisfying. Then there’s Arc mage, which had its mana-scaling damage toned down, so if you were running those big mana builds for juicy DPS, that’s not nearly as effective anymore.
