I dedicate this video to Kris "Peacekeeper" Rasmussen, because that motherfucker celebrates his birthday today. Should you ever meet him in Team Fortress 2, make sure to use incredibly overpowered weapons that crit a lot - otherwise you'll just die.
So while being bored at school a while ego, I decided to try and see if it would be possible to create a decent screen using just a the console. It started with some simple shapes, with a circle first. The circle was promptly followed by regular polygons, and at this point I had a fair grab of 2D transforming. Then, for reasons only Cthulhu may know, I decided to implement a full 3D model viewer into the program, which would render a model to a wireframe ASCII model.
"Why?", you might ask.
Fucked if I know.
It's able to read .obj files, though it only shows the edges and not faces, therefore the files might need some customization to work perfectly. In this case, I quickly modelled this TARDIS in about 10 minutes using Blender, and exported to .obj format.
Written in C# in about 4 hours tops.
