This is why I hate damage over time | Nirvana 513D Herrscher of Ice 777 | SSS MMG / SS HTr / 4*Kiana
Sirin is easy to play until your kills literally depend on a single ignite DoT tick. This was the case for me last Sirin boss where I had to wait for DoT ticks three times: https://youtu.be/PDVQ_7B_v8g?si=IyBlXF8XKZwyDOxY, but the DoT ticks were consistent in that run. This time the DoT ticks are very inconsistent and hopefully this run sheds some light to DoT timings and why I really hate playing Sirin once this level of attention to detail is required.
At 0:44 Ai pings this time are attack attack weapon. The attacks move her closer to her chakrams so that you get the ignite from the 2nd chakram AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Unless your Sirin's attack is higher, this is absolutely necessary because you will be able to fit in an extra DoT from the earlier ignite which leads to more damage than parrying with other methods. At 1:00, despite getting the extra DoT, if Sirin's attack is not high enough then she cannot ult immediately and she MUST WAIT for one more DoT before ult. It might look like I ulted immediately after weapon active but I assure you I am not doing that. You will lose time based on your reaction time since you have to wait until you confirm the DoT hit before pulling the trigger, but you can also risk it like I did in this run and try to get a frame-perfect ult. A frame-perfect ult means the ignite DoT that happens after the ult is still a 10 stack DoT (530,514 damage); the DoT registers the same frame that the stacks are removed.
Need two evasions in transition for Sirin SP. Easiest to get the first one in regular form, then move towards the first mist and transform while passing through the mist and then get the next one while in mech form. If you master all 3 different types of mist sequences there are (middle, right, middle / left, middle, right / right, middle, right) then it will become easier because you don't need to roll a specific transition anymore and you can work with any of them.
If your Sirin is weaker then delay Ai QTE and use it somewhere somewhere at 898~899 instead of 900. The goal for this delay is to time Ai's parries and Herrscher of Ice's spawn time perfectly so that Ai's charged attack's 3rd chakram clips the boss while it is returning to Ai for deflection. It is difficult to skip Sirin QTE this way and will take a couple tries, but if you get it then you will deal more damage because you will activate Ai's T stigmata buff for the damage rotation. This technique was used here: https://youtu.be/TciQkkSE5f8?si=Kvv0dmXMoGsVWwzX. It is 1~2 points slower but will help with the phase 2 clean kill if you cannot kill when skipping Ai's T stigmata buff.
At 1:35 the 10 stack DoT (239,024 damage) should happen during the weapon active endlag before Sirin ults. If this doesn't happen that means the Ai ignite timing was incorrect.
At 1:48 Ai parries should be attack attack weapon again. This is not the fastest way to parry but it is required because it is the only way I have found to make the final 10 stack DoT (722,347 damage) happen in time before Sirin ults at 2:14 which is required for the clean kill.
The 3 stacks of attack buffs at 1:59 is also important to look out for. Sirin usually gets it immediately on entry but not always. If it doesn't happen it is a reset.
As far as I can tell you cannot get 778 unless your attack is high enough so that you can skip the wait time for the 10 stack DoT at 1:00. More time can be saved by parrying differently at 1:48, but Sirin must be strong enough to kill without the final DoT tick because she will ult before it happens. That's just my speculation after playing for as long as I have; only Ryuu will know for sure.
