Stalkers ruminate and obsess over their victims. They desire to be close and to gain control. They look for someone to prey upon and deceive. They seek intimacy in all the wrong places. Stalkers, depending on the type you are dealing with, are truly unstable in how they process their environment and other people's emotions. Stalkers truly miss the "mark" and end up frightening their victims rather than appealing to them.
