THIS is why you NEED a CPU upgrade! (i5-12400 vs i5-10400 test in games & productivity)
I'm going to upgrade my 4k home theatre PC from a 10th generation i5 10400 to a 12th gen i5 12400. How much of a difference will it make? But is it worth upgrading? Is your old 9th or 10th or 11th gen system obsolete garbage? Or is upgrading a waste of time and money?
This system is built in the InWin A1 plus case, going from an i5-10400 in an ASUS ROG H470i itx motherboard, 16gb Corsair Vegnence Pro 3200mhz RAM, and the NZXT Kraken 120mm AIO, and we're swapping out the motherboard for the AsRock B660m-ITX/ac board to house our new i5-12400f. Oh and we're using the NZXT LGA 1700 adapter kit to mount the AiO too.
