I've been gaming a long time. Long enough that I've heard it all. And as a female gamer, like most female gamers, I've likely been hit on it all too. Listen up kiddos - this isn't working on anyone. Ironically the next question from this kid was - How old are you? Probably should have asked that question first. Also, no way this kid is 14. He's for sure not a day over 10.

But this isn't even my biggest pet peeve from kiddos hitting on me. My least favorite is when they assume that whatever friend I'm playing with must be my significant other. This is so rude on soooo many levels. Just because I'm female and gaming doesn't mean I must "be with" whoever I'm playing with. Girls game too. Girls have been gaming for a long... long time. So don't assume a female gaming must be doing so because her significant other talked her into it. 😒
