In his speedrun, achieved October 2nd, 2024, he uses an unconventional method, which involved leaving on the console for several days at a time, to possibly (though unknowably) reducing lag on the stage. But does it really work? Or is it all a placebo? And what might this tell us about the future of GoldenEye 007 speedrunning?
