Apparently I was actually playing the Alpha build! I will give the game another try on the proper build within the next 24 hours.
I always want to believe in an indie horror dev, Making a game is hard, I have never made one, but I understand game development is a MAJOR pain in the but. I never want to come across as being mean, or just being rude for no reason. I always just try find the positives before I call out the negatives... but truthfully, Other then voice acting, this game needs work in EVERY department. And to be perfectly honest, I didn't even get to see enough of the game properly see what the voice actor was capable of.
Project: Nightlight needs so much work, I phase through walls, fall out of the map, have double voice recordings playing, the back pack system is janky, controls are delayed, you can't pick up anything extra, you can't sprint, but you can teleport? It just... it needs so much more work, and I honestly can't approve of charging people 23$ (canadian) for a game where I didn't even get past the 2nd lobby. I wish you the best in your continued development. But unless some MAJOR fixes are made, I can not recommend this game.
