This Setting Is Enforced’ Error By Administrator on Google Chrome In Windows FIX [Tutorial]

Command Prompt:

RD /S /Q "%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicy"
gpupdate /force

Recently, more and more users have complained about changing their Omnibox search engine on Google Chrome. The problem is that when they tried to reset it, the setting was greyed out and they were stuck with the unwanted alternative of the search engine.

When they clicked on Manage Search Engines, there was an icon next to the unwanted machine with the message “This setting is applied by your administrator”. The reasons may vary, but the installation of malware or intrusive advertising should generally be important.

The “This setting is applied by your administrator” setting was created by Google to help administrators, but cybercriminals use this type of policy to change your default search. This is because search engines are managed and cannot simply be deleted or disabled via the Chrome Search Settings page, because search engines “This setting is applied by your administrator”.

Unfortunately, some free downloads do not indicate enough that other software is installed, and you will find that you have installed this malicious program without your knowledge.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems. Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
