This stream has been turned OFF in 2025. (Part 2)
7OFF is an freeware indie RPG initially made by belgian developer Mortis Ghost and Alias Conrad Coldwood in 2008. It gained a cult following and became one of the biggest games on the Internet despite it not being in English thanks to its weirdness, memorable characters and surreal atmosphere. The popularity of the game further exploded in 2011 when an English translation finally saw the light of day.
Fast forward to 2025, Fangamer and Mortis Ghost united forces to bring this enigmatic game all the way to an actual retail release. The game was remade in Unity, shedding most of the RPG Maker heritage but without sacrificing the roots and essence of the game.
Unfortunately, Alias Conrad Coldwood declined to have his soundtrack licensed for commercial uses, which means that a new soundtrack had to be made for nu-OFF. Fortunately, the many musicians invited to soundtrack this new iteration of OFF rise to the occasion and make a worthy substitute.
We will play this version of the game and see how OFF fares in 2025.
