This SYSTEM SHOCK VR MOD is EPIC! // Closest Thing to BIOSHOCK VR? UEVR Mod
513This might be the closest we ever get to Bioshock VR... a full motion controlled VR mod for the System Shock Remake that has been built with the UEVR mod as a foundation! This is the vision for the Unreal Engine VR mod, when given to the right people we'll start seeing plenty of fantastic new VR mods that use this framework as a starting block and System Shock VR is a great example of that. The System Shock VR mod isn't publicly available just yet but it does feel like it's getting close to a full release, with working 6DOF motion controls, adjustments for using keypads & terminals, snap turn and fantastic performance even on the highest graphics settings there are only a few things that I think still need to be polished in this excellent VR mod. There are a handful of small issues I'd like to see ironed out, and I'd LOVE to see smooth turn implemented, but right now this is a fantastic way to experience the sci-fi horror adventure that was a precursor for the original Bioshock.
This System Shock VR gameplay / System Shock VR mod gameplay was captured using an early access release of the mod, the game was running maxed out on a 4090 VR ready PC and I was using a Quest 3 with a wired connection to display the game.
