This was such a missed opportunity... - Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - 49 - Credits + True Ending
You know, when Sly was fighting Le Paradox, he made a few good points.
Le Paradox's legacy was secured. He would have gone down as the greatest thief / criminal Mastermind of all time, but he got greedy. Decided that he wanted to take out the Cooper Clan, which would have created numerous paradoxes in the timeline.
Rioichi? Captured, and probably hadn't had his kind yet. Tennessee? Definitely a ladies man, but his crowning achievement was hijacked, and he was literally hours away from death. Bob? That would have cut the cord right there if he had died. Galleth? He was captured, and there was a good chance he wouldn't have made it out of the carnival grounds.
Let's just say that Sly's dad wouldn't have stolen that diamond, to say the very least. Paradox's dad wouldn't have gone to jail, Le Paradox probably would have amassed the fortune that he did, and he certainly wouldn't have gone back in time to screw with Sly's ancestors.
Here's a basic paradox question. A guy goes back in time and ends up killing his grandfather before his dad is conceived, thus making it so the guy was never born. So who killed the grandfather?
