Thought Experiment: Should We EVER Trust AI To Raise Children?
3In this thought experiment, I explore the idea of how artificial intelligence could impact parenting. In terms of what sets us apart from machines, the act of parenting our children is a quality that is integral to our humanity. It's also something that AI is nowhere close to matching.
But that may change one day.
What happens when AI advances to a point where it can interact with, relate to, and parent children on a level equal to or greater than any human? How would that affect us, as a society? How would that impact the children it raises? Could we ever accept such a scenario?
